Right now, the AXA Community Scholarship is available to student for $2,000 each and the deadline is Feb 18th.

The criteria for applying: "Applicants are to describe an outstanding achievement in a non-academic activity or project that occurred in school, the community or the workplace." It may be a long term achievement. such as extensive volunteer hours and activities in one area; an activity such as chairing a charity benefit for a classmate diagnosed with cancer; or a project that is related to school such as organizing and leading a new local chapter of SADD. The point is that the focus is not on grades, it is on volunteer contributions to school, community, or the workplace.
